A friend of mine placed a Video Camera on top of his Computer and connected it to the Internet through some freely available Software. Since then I can actually see him on my screen whenever I contact him, as long as he leaves his camera on.

This kind of communication, actually a one on one audio-visual exchange, is much richer than a phone talk and permits additional two way transmission of video information like sketches, drawings, maps, photos etc.

The uses to which this newly available capability can be put are only limited by ones imagination and dedication to solve specific problems.

Instead of sitting together in the same room, people convene in different places of their convenience under the eyes of watchful cameras and the ears of attentive microphones. Their distant partners, similarly served by suitable equipment, are watched on screens and their voices are heard through loudspeakers.

The interactive telecommunication technology that makes these exchanges possible via two-way video and audio cable or satellite transmissions, is completely transparent and does not interfere with the spontaneous behavior of the participants.

It should not come as a surprise that Video Conferencing is enjoying rapid diffusion and that its best advantages are being put to good use in many different fields of human activity like education, medicine, business, consulting etc.

Bringing a small crowd of selected people together, irrespective of their actual location, for coordinated common hearing and seeing, absorbing and commenting, learning and taking part, is a powerful way to permit the most important interactions to occur, without being physically in the same place.

It represents the conquest of a new dimension, like the gift of ubiquity, naturally unavailable to human beings.

It is a great way of convening committees to discuss matters and to take decisions
while saving on transportation expenses and on travel time that can be employed instead for productive endeavors. It also avoids delays and dangers, real or feared.

Although the main application of this technology is not specific for Home Surveillance, it is an extension of equipment and technology already developed for those applications.

Although still limited to large organizations capable of profiting the most by installing and operating this recent technology, Video Conference is likely to spread to a wider public and to individuals that appreciate the immediacy and wholeness of interaction experience afforded by online audio-visual exchange.

I do not believe that setting up a Country, as a franchise is more difficult than a burger joint; it just takes a lot more capital, longer wait on the ROI and more resources. And really we are not just setting up an economic system, but rather taking our studies of all needs of civilizations and weaving them together in a non-linear way, which is the way things work in this dimension, inter-connectedness I mean.

Perhaps you are just finishing up your degree program, or maybe you are just now preparing to enter college. Whatever the case may be you should understand the implications of student loans and how repaying them can affect not only your current credit situation, but also your future financial worthiness. In this article well examine some of the tips, tricks and warning associated with repaying student loans so that you can be a prepared borrower no matter what your current degree status is.

The first thing you should know about student loans is that unlike most other debts and obligations they cannot be wiped away by bankruptcy. Student loans will follow you through your entire life until they are repaid in full, or forgiven by the loan guarantor or originator. Unfortunately many people fail to realize the potentially heavy burden student loans will place upon their financial health until it is too late.

Most student loans are guaranteed by the federal government though few are actually issued by the government. Most of them are issued by banks and other financial institutions that are using the guarantee of the government to secure your loan. If you should fail to repay the loan, the government would repay it and then take over collecting the money owed from you.

In the pursuit of prosperity, we are always looking for ways to create personal wealth, and day trading forex offers much more opportunities to create wealth than say trading stocks and shares and commodities. Why is this so?

The stock markets and the commodity markets have set times that they are open for trading. In contrast, the forex markets are open 24hours a day, seven days in the week, giving much more trading opportunities to the day trader to trade. The day trader is always conscious of liquidity. Are you organizationally challenged? Do you have papers scattered all over your desk, and waste precious time searching for elusive slips of paper?

Heres an idea that helped one organizationally challenged person. One day a colleague offered to help him get organized. She piled all the papers on his desk into a box and left it beside his desk. A month later she asked if her co-worked had opened the box. To his surprise, he hadnt. He realized that a lot of the paper scattered on his desk was not important.

Here are some tips for managing the papers on your desk so you become more productive.

Most people file papers by asking themselves where they should put something. Instead, ask: Where would I look for this?

Touch each paper only once and make a decision about it. To sensitize yourself, tear off a corner of the paper each time you read it. When the paper is almost in shreds, youll realize how many times you read things without acting on them.

Use a Bring-Forward file, dated 1 to 31. Put a request from your manager for information about your key clients, needed for November 25, in the slot for November 24. Book time in your planner to work on that request beforehand.

Write Discard By on the top of papers you need for a limited time. Get rid of them when the date has passed.

Dont keep slips of paper. Write all the information you need in one place, such as a daily planner, either in paper or electronic form. Then throw out the paper.

In your planner, whenever you think of information you need to give someone, or questions that need to be addressed, record them as well.

Keep all the details related to an event or customer in the same place for easy reference. When you visit a client, youll have the information you need at your fingertips. Include personal information as well, so youll be reminded to congratulate a receptionist who got engaged, or ask about a clients recent vacation.

It is a fact that in our common era, one half of all people who get married will get divorced. This is a problem that people and courts hate to deal with. All save marriage books should discuss sex. It doesnt matter what any lawyer or psychologist tells you, sex is very important to a marriage. You no longer live in the Middle Ages, so discussing sex openly should be fine with all of us. The chande momentum oscillator (CMO) was developed by Tushar Chande andis a technical indicator that attempts to capture the momentum of a security. Chande discussed this and many other indicators in his book “The New Technical Trader“. The chande momentum oscillator differs from other technical indicators like the RSI and MACD, because it uses up and down days in both the numerator and denominator.

Chande Momentum Oscillator Overbought/Oversold Levels

The CMO is a unique oscillator, but like all other oscillators, it has overbought and oversold levels. Since the indicator is based on previous closing prices, it will oscillate between +100 and -100. Traders use a general rule of thumb that when the chande momentum oscillator is greater than +50 the security is said to be overbought, while a reading below -50 is considered oversold. Traders should not simply buy or sell a security because the indicator crosses these thresholds, this is a sure way to lose money.

Trading with the Chande Momentum Oscillator

Trading with the chande momentum oscillator as a standalone indicator can prove a challenging task. Since the indicator will oscillate between +100 and -100, a break of +50 could mean that it is overbought, but remember the indicator has another 50 points it can run. What many traders do is to apply a moving average to the indicator and will use crosses of the CMO and a simple moving average to generate trade triggers. Another approach is to trade a security when the chande momentum oscillator has reached extreme readings. Extreme readings are an indication that a strong trend is in place, and traders will add to their positions on any minor corrections.

As human beings, one of our most basic needs is getting a good nights sleep. In fact, it is a well-established fact that the need for sleep can overpower the need to eat. Yet a recent study points out that many adults get less than six hours of shut-eye per night, where most need about eight hours to properly restore and rejuvenate for the next day. That two-hour deficit can have an incredibly negative impact on our daily lives. If you are among this sleep-deprived group, the following information may persuade you to change your night owl ways.

Getting less than six hours of sleep on a consistent basis, as is the practice of about 15% of the population, means that these people experience an increase in stress, fatigue, sadness and anger during the day. On top of that, when people do not get an adequate amount of sleep, their work performance almost always declines, and theyre likely to suffer more injuries than their well-rested counterparts. Many have a hard time getting along with people. Some even eat more than usual, and its probably the high sugar type snacks that have a tendency to temporarily boost energy, so weight gain can become a problem as well.

On the flip side, those who get at least eight hours of sleep per night enjoy a sense of peace and are satisfied with life. They are able to stay alert and energetic during the day, thereby maintaining a high level of productivity at work and reducing the risk of injury that can come with fatigue.

If all of this is persuading you to revisit your sleep habits, know that there are some simple steps you can take to improve your quality of sleep.

• First and foremost, establish a schedule. For most adults, 10:00-6:00 works well, but you may need to modify this to accommodate your lifestyle. Try to stick to that schedule as close as you can 7 days a week.
• Short naps around 1:00 in the afternoon can help to, but limit them to about 15-30 minutes.
• If you find that your level of anxiety goes up when your head hits the pillow, take some time before bed to jot down whatevers on your mind, and plan to address those issues the next day. This should help alleviate some nighttime stress.
• If youre having a hard time winding down, hit the sack a little bit earlier and flip through a magazine or pick up a good book. Most likely youll soon feel drowsy and sleep will come easily.
